I’ve had another slow week at IAM, but I do have an important update!
My first Spark!Lab video has been posted! It is so nice to finally see one of my projects come to fruition. The videos will be on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. (We actually created the YouTube channel for the museum this week because now we have these videos to post on it!) The editing is a little cheesy, but I think it’s fun and that the kids will enjoy it. Here is the link to the YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jg-m50xfbwg This one doesn’t have many views just because the channel is brand new, but hopefully we will get lots of engagement from people who already follow us on the other platforms.
Other than that, this week I developed another homeschooling/field trip project, this time about the history of the DFW Airport, which is in Irving. For the project part, the students can build their own model airplane out of materials they have around their house, or conduct flying experiments with different types of paper airplanes.
I only have one more week left of my internship! The time has gone by so quickly. Next week I’ll just be focusing on wrapping up the little details in each of my projects, and going through all of my work with my supervisors so that they can utilize it in the coming months.
